Buckingham Palace Garden Party on 8th May 2024

The Lord Chamberlain is commanded by His Majesty to invite His Holiness Gangri Karma Rinpoche to a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, 8th May 2024. We were so excited when we received our invitation card from Buckingham Palace. We were excited to wait for the day to come.

On the day, the sun beamed down on the lawns of Buckingham Palace and the sky white clouds floated slowly on the blue canvas, migrating from one end of the castle to the other. The guests’ faces are full of joy and excitement.

His Majesty King Charles welcomed guests to the first royal garden party of 2024. Accompanied by Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh as well as the Duck and Duchess of Gloucester. This the first Buckingham Palace Garden Party of 2024.

The Buckingham Palace Garden Party applications open to nominated guests who have been recognised for their excellent contributions in their field,  public service, voluntary or community work. It was very pleasure to meet with excellent religious representatives, mayors, councillors, officers, doctors and charity representatives.
