Martsang Kagyu Avalokiteshvara Puja

The precious Avalokiteshvara Puja is within Martsang Kagyu system which includes Avlokiteshvara offering, Refuge and so on. It is a prayer for the deceased, increased fearlessness and longevity.

The practice of Avalokiteshvara helps to create the conditions through which beings are born into the pure land of Dewachen. The essential practice of Avalokiteshvara is single pointed concentration, trusting that one will be reborn in his Pure Land. Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is able to benefit sentient beings by saving them from suffering, treating the three poisons and responding to their two types of requests. He also has the ability to reach out to sentient beings and expound the Dharma according to their level of understanding. Besides having great compassion in liberating sentient beings, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva possesses great wisdom to look deeply into the Five Aggregates and realise their intrinsic empty nature. This enables him to alleviate the sufferings of sentient beings.

Avalokiteshvara’s Pure Land is one of the place where it is much easier for a being to work towards enlightenment.

The puja will be led by His Holiness Gangri Karma Rinpoche who edited The Sadhana of Avalokiteshvara of Martsang Kagyu Tibetan Buddhism. This is a precious and unique puja.
